Free and open-source software (FOSS) cell at AKM Polytechnic college, is a community of passionate students and faculty members, who have come together for the cause of promoting and contributing to Free and Open Source Software. The cell strives to bring more student developers into the open-source community and thereby leading to FOSS promotion within the institution. FOSS cell is established under International Centre for Free and Open Source Software (ICFOSS), an autonomous organization of the Government of Kerala.
